Data You Provide Directly
When you use a search form, the name, phone number, or address you enter is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the results. We do not save a separate copy of those searches on our own servers. If you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send and use them to answer your message.
Data Collected Automatically
Our hosting provider records ordinary server-log data, such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. We review that information in aggregate to maintain the site and understand which Coronado records pages are useful. Cookies or similar tools may also be used for basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
How We Use This Data
The information described above helps us operate the site, troubleshoot problems, measure traffic, and improve the Coronado public-records reference pages. We do not sell a visitor list. We do not build individual user profiles.
Links to Outside Websites
Coronado People Search links to city, county, court, state, library, and third-party search resources. Each outside site applies its own privacy policy, and anything you submit there is governed by that site's rules rather than ours. Sponsored search results are also supplied by a third-party company with separate data practices.
Who May See Data
Vendors that host and support this site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data noted above. We may disclose information when valid legal process requires it. We do not otherwise share visitor data.
How Data Is Protected
The site is served over an encrypted connection. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for the purposes listed above. Because this site does not offer user accounts, it does not hold a password or account profile for you.
Users Under 18
This site is intended for users who are 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor sent personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or limit certain personal data under California privacy laws, including the CCPA as amended by the CPRA. California also operates the DROP system for deletion requests directed to registered data brokers. Because we hold very little, most requests are narrow: we can search our contact mailbox and server logs and remove what we find. Use the Contact page to make a request. Public records held by Coronado, San Diego County, California agencies, or courts are outside our control; those removal or correction requests must go to the custodian office.
